I am completely new to blogging. Been reading for awhile but this is the first of my own. So, keep that in mind as I struggle to figure this all out.
Here is my plan. I plan to post daily with how I am doing with food and exercise for the day (good and bad). I am hoping that by putting it out there for the whole world to see, I will be held more accountable. Nothing else seems to be working right now and I didn't really know what else to do. I'll weigh in once a week to see how its going. I'm not ready at this point to advertise my current weight but as I progress, I will announce how much I'm losing and eventually let the world know where I started.
Now some background info. My name is Karen and I am 32 years old. I am a work at home mom with a wonderful husband and a beautiful 3 year old daughter. I have struggled with my weight my whole life, off and on. I am currently the heaviest I have ever been. Right now I weigh a few pounds more than I did 9 months pregnant with my daughter.
I joined a gym in March of 09 and have worked out consistently since joining. After a couple months, I started working out with a personal trainer (she'll be reading this by the way, so if I'm not doing good, I'll have to pay for sure). She is great and I love her, but still no luck. Working out is not the issue for me right now because I am loving it. I can't get a handle on the food. In the past, I've tried all kinds of methods but right now I'm starting back with just counting calories. I may switch back to weight watchers points if the calories aren't working.
