Day 54 and Day55

Sorry I haven't been posting everyday lately...just getting frustrated.

Day 54 (Friday)
Did 45 minutes of cardio (running/walking) and 1142 calories

Day 55 (Saturday)
No gym today. Did a lot of walking/shopping but nothing intense. Calories were 1215.

Day 53

I don't have a calorie count today. I was out of my Myoplex drinks but went to Sams today to stock up. So, didn't have any today but ready for tomorrow. I didn't count today cuz I was running around all day but I was careful.

No gym today either but ready to take on some running in the morning. :)

Day 52

Day number 2 drinking the Myoplex. Today wasn't as easy. I was hungrier today, but I survived.

Still getting over my cold, couldn't get out of bed, didn't make it into the gym as early as I had hoped. Did 20 minutes of cardio(running/walking) and 45 minutes of weight training with Rebecca.

Today's calories were 1091

Day 50 (weigh in day) and Day 51

I've got a cold and fell asleep last night before blogging. Sorry :(

Day 50: Weighed in and lost three pounds for a total of 10. I am thrilled to have lost 3 but after the previous 2 weigh ins, still not feeling too good about it all.

Did 30 minutes weight training with Rebecca, 20 minutes running/walking, and 60 minute class with Rebecca.

At the recommendation of Rebecca (since I'm having so much trouble losing), tomorrow I am starting to replace two of my meals with Myoplex Lite. It's a supplement drink.

Day 51: Started the Myoplex today. I can't say its good but I can get it down. If it does what it is suppose to do, then its worth it.

No gym today and calories were 1218.

Day 48 and 49

The weekend was a little hectic but I still kept track and I was somewhere around 1200 on both days.

I had good intentions of going to the gym yesterday and today but I'm coming down with a cold (thanks to Viv). Not bad enough that I couldn't have made it but I was trying to rest up some so I could attempt to have a good week at the gym this week while trying to fight a cold. :(

Day 47

Today at the gym I did 40 minutes of cardio (running/walking) and an hour of Power Express class (full body INTENSE weights). I am NOT going to be able to move tomorrow!

I didn't calculate calories today but my estimate puts it around 1300 today.

Day 46

Didn't make it to the gym today. Had to take the dog to the vet to get shots and Viv is sick. I did 30 minutes of pilates/abs at home.

Day 45

Got my taxes done this morning so I didn't get to do weight training with Rebecca but I went in later for some cardio. Did 45 minutes of running/walking. For some reason the running was a lot harder today than it has been. One of my legs started to cramp up pretty early on so then it was sore the rest of the time. Breana sent me the info for "couch to 5k". I'm following that, for the most part. I've tweaked it a little. Hopefully I'll have it all together by April.

My calories today were 1288

Day 43 - Evil Weigh In Day

I AM SO UNBELIEVABLY FRUSTRATED!!! Weighed in this morning and gained a pound. Let's recap last week. I did great on my calories all week except Saturday evening. I worked out harder and more often than I have been. Yet, I gained another pound. This is seriously ridiculous. THIS ALL SEEMS SO POINTLESS!

Today my calories were 1220. I did 45 minutes of cardio (running/walking) and 20 minutes of pilates.

Day 41 and Day 42

This will be a two day post, didn't get around to it last night.

So, yesterday was Day 41. I did great all day. We were going out to eat for Valentine's Day (a day early) at Olive Garden. I already had my meal perfectly planned out, down to the glass of wine. I was going to stay under my calories, it was gonna be perfect. Until we arrived there at 5pm (which we thought we be early enough to beat the crowd) and the line was out in the parking lot. Normally, I would have just waited since it was all planned but we couldn't be late to a friends recital that night. So went elsewhere. I was VERY frustrated that all my planning went to waste so I didn't eat as good as I should have.

But, I did do 30 minutes of cardio (running/walking) and 75 minutes of yoga.

Now, on to Day 42. I didn't end up figuring dinner into the calories today but I know I stayed under. And I did 45 minutes of Cardio (running/walking).

I don't normally go to the gym on the weekends but I went both yesterday and today. Thinking about the 5k has done a lot for my motivation. :) But, I've only been running for three days now and my hips are taking a hit. Not too bad yet so hopefully I'll be able to push through that.

Well, my friend, Breana, has talked me into doing a 5k with her in April. Not sure what I got myself into but I'll be trying to get ready for that now.

Did 45 minutes of cardio today (running/walking). Also did 20 minutes of abs.

Day 36-Weigh In Day

Well, we are looking at the same number as last week. No change in the weight this week. And, it's really beginning to suck. I'm extremely frustrated! Big bummer day!

Today's calories were 1065. At they gym I did 18 minutes elliptical, 30 minutes weight training with Rebecca and another 25 of mild cardio/weight training with Rebecca. Gotta love her. Her next client cancelled so she just kept training me.

Day 35


Since it's super bowl Sunday, I thought I would post a football pic tonight. I thinks this was some sort of vice versa day at school, where girls dressed like boys, etc.

Today my calories were 1250...plus...I had some of Chris' tortilla chips and cheese dip.

I've really been trying to do some sort of exercise everyday but it didn't happen today. I'm loving the exercise videos I found on hulu.com. My only complaint is when I'm watching an exercise video, should the sponsor really be dunkin donuts. It's just sort of mean!

Day 34

Geez, this was 1991. That's forever ago! But we sure were cute! I'm loving Vanessa's bomber jacket in the pic.

Well, today I was doing good, staying on track. Then I took Viv to a birthday party...and they had peanut butter chocolate cake. Um, hello! How am I suppose to turn that down. Then we got out of the party at 6:30 and we were starving...Viv picked mexican. I did get soft tacos to avoid the fried shells but the amount of grease dripping off of them made me pretty sure they weren't healthy! :(

I did about 15-20 minutes of cardio bootcamp today. Planned on doing the 45 minute video today but Viv wasn't cooperating today and letting me get it done. (usually she does).

Day 33

On my way to bed when I realized I forgot to blog tonight. So, this will be a quickie...no time for pics.

Cardio, 45 minutes ( 35 elliptical, 10 cardio video), 5 minute ab video
Calories counted, 1240...but (yes, there's a but). My next door neighbor passed away Wednesday evening so I did some cooking and baking for her husband today. I did eat some cookies. I don't know how many calories were in them. I had four (granted, they were small cookies, but still, I had 4)

Day 32


I decided to add a video today, instead of a picture. I found some exercise clips on the computer that I worked out with today. Tonight, I did some abs and when I got done, Viv said, "my turn". So she did the full 10 minute pilates ab workout. The exercises got funnier as it went on but this is all I got on video. It was TOO cute!

Today I did 30 minutes of pilates at home. My calories were 1285.

Day 31 - Today was a better day

Today was warmer. Not Spring by any means, but warmer. Snow was melting and it gave me a little glimmer of hope that Spring is just around the corner. So, I thought this honeymoon picture was fitting.

Today, I did 43 minutes of cardio on the elliptical and about 40 minutes of weight training with Rebecca. I'm not looking forward to my training sessions running out :( They are almost gone!

Today my calories were 1438.

Day 30 - Wow, I'm hungry!


Cheerleading camp in high school. Hoping that if I'm able to keep up with the progress, I'll be posting NOW pictures (just not yet)!

Wow! I was hungry today. I didn't get my normal filling breakfast and it just threw the whole day off. I had a headache ALL day and I was SOOO hungry. My calories before dinner were 790. I had a meal swap meal for dinner so not sure what the calories were. But I think I did okay.

Day 29 - Weigh In Day


Well, today was weigh in day. My total is now 8 lbs lost, that means this past week I gained 3 pounds. :( Which sucks, but I was expecting it. Last week when I lost 5 lbs, I knew that this week would be rough. I did good all week knowing that, but I gained anyways. Oh well, I wasn't real surprised, so its okay. I'm moving on to this week.

I didn't finish counting my calories today so not real sure but it wasn't bad. I even took into consideration that I had a yummy cinnamon muffin this morning. Good stuff!

Today at the gym, I did 30 minutes of weight training with Rebecca and 25 minutes on the elliptical. I'll be stepping up my cardio, Rebecca pointed out today that I need to be doing at least 45 minutes. I'm on it Rebecca! :)
